Thursday, March 24, 2005 query What do you all think is the coolest part of the Bible? I think it's the part where there's a herd of pigs possesed by the Devil and Jesus fights them.
Replies: 1 Comment Wow. Rory. I think you just converted me to Christianity. The Bible is one book I haven't read. It makes me sleepy. But the coolest part I've heard about is where Moses comes down from the mount, with the all the commandments. One of which is about not killing. And then he orders the slaughter of about 3000 men. And this after Moses got God to reconsider smiting these people. Talk about your Nietzschean superman, writing his own rules! |
