the Propaganda Unlimited Archives
Propaganda Unlimited is an online magazine that was first published in January of 1994 (although the idea had been around for months, it took until January for the stars to align for a proper release) by Constantine and Midget Caesar. Constantine had previously worked on the legendary BLaH text file group and was looking for something new to do. Midget Caesar had no real excuse for being there, as most of his writing makes quite clear. With Constantine as editor, PU started out on a bi-weekly schedule, but reality prevented them from keeping to it as they were hit by long delays, lawsuits, protest marches, and not being able to find the remote. With the help of several talented collaborators, Constantine and MC did manage to publish a few issues. Midget Caesar took over editing duties for issue #9, but sheer apathy and lack of submissions brought PU to a halt in early 1995. Following a joint lawsuit by Quaker Oats, Wilford Brimley, and Wang Computers Inc., the Propaganda Unlimited offices were shut down and all concerned fled to Brazil or assumed aliases.

Here are the issues as they originally appeared; as little re-drawing as possible for HTML has been done to preserve the original low-fi quality of the releases. (Really. Short attention spans on the part of the coders have nothing to do with it.) Keep watching this page for occasional updates, unreleased material, and a massive headache if you stare for long enough.
